Are you a Sugar Addict?
Some of the signs are craving sugar, losing control or eating more than you planned. If you are experiencing sugar cravings, you know that it’s hard to stop. The more sugar you consume the more it fuels every cell in the brain. Your brain regards this sugar as a reward, which makes you keep on wanting more. That is why sugar is addictive. During our story centered hypnosis sessions, we will program your mind to see sugary foods and drinks in a different way, this will allow to course correct and make different decisions consistent with your new goals.
Quick Sugar Highs…
Why do you get a rush when you eat a midday candy bar? The sugar in it — called a simple carbohydrate — is quickly turned into glucose in your bloodstream. Your blood sugar levels spike. Simple carbs are also found in fruits, veggies, and dairy products. But these have fiber and protein that slow the process. Syrup, soda, candy, and table sugar don’t.
…And Sugar Lows
Your body needs to move glucose out of the bloodstream and into your cells for energy. To do this, your pancreas makes insulin, a hormone. As a result, your blood sugar level may have a sudden drop. This rapid change in blood sugar leaves you feeling wiped out and shaky and searching for more sweets to regain that sugar “high.” So that midday sugary treat has set you up for more bad eating.

It is an act of war against the self to condemn the temple in which you live.

What Causes Sugar Addiction?
Sugar addiction often causes weight issues. Being overweight is often referred to as ‘psychic protection’ and is very taxing, not only on the body, but also on the mind and spirit. The relentless feelings of despair and critical self-talk in addition to the physical state of strain can wear those who are overweight down to a frazzle. This cycle spirals, causing an even deeper state of despair. If you feel that you need assistance gracefully moving into or maintaining an ideal weight, it is likely you will find hypnotherapy a beneficial tool.
Hypnotherapy contributes to the success of thousands of people as they maintain a healthy balance within the mind, body and spirit connection and as they shed the extra weight and step into their best self. Hypnosis not only clarifies your intention as you bypass the critical mind, but also helps you develop a new relationship with food. Weight gain has an emotional component that can stringently work against you and overrule your conscious intentions. A hypnotherapist can help you to uncover the emotional issues that hinder your success and change your belief system with an ‘update’ to become more congruent with your desire to release weight. As a hypnotherapist, I will work with you to re-establish the healthy belief system that you hold in your subconscious mind.
Lack of forgiveness causes almost all of our self-sabotaging behavior.”

Neutralize the Sugar Addiction Triggers
It is imperative to create a balanced and healthy whole body approach to weight loss, which includes diet, exercise and a practice of self-love. Hypnosis allows you to focus on your goal quickly and effectively by accessing the core of the issue with grace and ease.
I work to assist my clients in neutralize the ‘triggers’ that compel them to eat for reasons other than choosing nutritious food when they are hungry. Things such as frustration, escape and depression all contribute to a cycle of eating to numb the perceived pain. By working with the real issue behind the symptom of overeating, one can gracefully let go of the negative association one has with food. You can gain control of the way you choose to eat.
My clients no longer feel the need to binge and crave unhealthy foods. Cravings and binging are completely eliminated. Food ceases to be the focus of your life, as your comforter or your escape. You are internally driven to a state of healthy balance. As my clients pattern of eating changes naturally, they often begin to crave fruits and vegetables and find a new joy in nurturing their physical being without feeling deprived. The stress of yo-yo fad dieting can cause is eliminated because food is no longer used as a coping mechanism, but to nourish, your physical being. This is why I am called the Get Off Sugar Guru.

"I have been seeing Rochelle for about 8 weeks now and have lost 20 lbs over that time. I still have a bit more weight to lose but with her help I am confident that I will meet my goal. I loved to eat sugary things, but after my first session with Rochelle I now have a different relationship with sugar. Her use of aversion therapy has really helped me to be more aware of the foods I am eating and I have stopped the cravings for unhealthy foods.
Don't get me wrong, I am not perfect, but through hypno surgery and aversion therapy I am aware of what I am eating and how much I am eating. I feel so much better about myself and know that it is possible to reach my goal. Rochelle has had such a positive influence on me and I would not be where I am today without her! I would highly recommend for anyone, trying to lose a little or a lot of weight."

"I've stopped my cravings for Macaroni & Cheese and high calorie burritos. I plateaued on my weight, tried many diets, and realized I needed help to get me over this hump. This was a mental issue as I was exercising regularly, but eating too much. Rochelle and Michael have both stepped in to help me as I have a very analytical mind—I'm a rocket scientist. Through this program I've stopped my cravings for Macaroni & Cheese and high calorie burritos. I really had to eat these items once a week, now not at all. I was resistive at first, not believing these cravings could stop, but after a session, I realized I didn't need those items.
I'm now more aware of what I'm eating and how much I'm eating. Rochelle really made me realize this without pushing that I needed to count calories. She provided new ways of enjoying food. My confidence and self esteem has increased as my fitness goal is now achievable. Thanks Rochelle & Mike!"

Rochelle is a very sweet woman who can help you understand deep rooted behaviors and bad habits we can’t seem to overcome on our own (even with years of therapy).
I had an eating disorder for 16 years and I had seen a therapist (Psyc. Phd/MFT) for many years and even a Psychiatrist.
When I reached out to Rochelle, I thought I was a lost cause and I would never be able to stop purging and over exercising. I had hit rock bottom and my body was in extremely bad shape. In our first session, I told her some details about my childhood that gave her insight into the root of my disorder and she used hypnosis to change these behaviors and improve my self-image. After our first session, I stopped all self-destructive behavior, related to my eating disorder, and have not yet relapsed.
Her work also helped me overcome my addiction to bread and unhealthy carbs.
Thanks to Rochelle, I’ve come a long way and I can honestly say I’m a completely different and healthy person with a positive attitude and the desire to love myself and take care of my body. I would recommend her to anyone with the desire or need to make a real and permanent behavioral change.
